5 years of Scangaroo
Hooray! On March 1st, Scangaroo celebrated its 5th birthday.
It all started 5 years ago with a suitcase. This suitcase had a laptop under the double bottom. By opening the suitcase you could see a Canon P215 compact document scanner. In the meantime, the laptop with a dongle for internet started automatically. Ernst drove through the entire country to connect the first customers. The suitcase was the beginning of our Scangaroo application. Through this app, integrations on various on-board computers were possible, with scanners from Canon and Fujitsu to scan your logistic documents on the road.
Scangaroo has become a highly developed product: with a compact Canon or Fujitsu scanner, Scangaroo bracket for full protection of your scanner, several suitable cables and a quick repair service. Scangaroo enables thousands of drivers worldwide to scan logistic documents on the way and send them immediately to their office back home. Canon P215-II
The Canon P215-II is compatible with Windows and Mac (with integrated software). With the so called ‘Capture On Touch Lite’, you can easily start scanning with your laptop or pc. The automatic document feeder offers room for up to 20 pieces of paper. You can also scan ID-cards, drivers licenses or credit cards by using the ID-feeder. This scanner can be used in combination with the Scangaroo app, so it can be used on the road easily. The scanner and application are compatible with several on-board computers. They can also connect to your Android phone or tablet.
Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100
The Fujitsu ScanSnap iX100 is smaller and weighs less than the Canon. The ScanSnap only has a weight of 400 grams and will be delivered with a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery, which can be recharged by USB. The Fujitsu can scan multiple formats: A4, A5, A6, B5, B6 and business cards. This scanner has no insert for an ID card. The device is quick and compact, within a few seconds you will find all your important documents in your mailbox. The scanner and application are compatible with several on-board computers. They can also connect to your Android phone or tablet.

For the last couple of weeks, we’ve been working hard on the renewal of our branding. The logo’s of Scangaroo and Print Panther have been redesigned. The logistic consultancy that we provide is displayed better on the website. Through our consultancy knowledge, we offer our customers the best logistic solutions to optimize their management.
